SOUND OF RAIN

This pattern was the sound of the rain in the garden. I had generated the rounded sound wave online and print the image out and stick it onto a piece of wax to carve it. Then I realise the wax piece is too thick to cast, so I carefully slice down to the thickness that I prefer. The texture is to represents the water dripping down effect on a raining day

SOUND OF WIND

This pattern was the sound of the wind from the garden, I
recorded the sound and created a sound wave video. Then I picked out one section of the soundwave and stick it onto a piece of wax, carve the shape out with tools and tealight. The texture on the ring is to create depth in the sound wave for it to look more 3D.
